SFReader is actively seeking articles and reviews. All submitted content must be relevant to science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
We Publish and Pay For
Articles about reading and/or writing science fiction, fantasy and horror, interviews with writers, publishers, editors, and artists, convention reports, personal essays, workshop experiences, etc. If in doubt, use this form to query me. Minimum article length is 1,000 words.
- Payment: $10 US for articles
Reviews of science fiction, fantasy and horror movies, magazines (including ezines), and television shows. Minimum review length is 500 words. No maximum length.
- Payment: $5 US for movie, TV and magazine/ezine reviews
We’ll reprint previously published articles and review, but at no pay; we only pay for original articles.
Our contract stipulates exclusivity for 30 days. That means if you write an article or review and we buy it, you aren’t allowed to post it anywhere else until 30 days after it’s publication on SFReader.
We Publish but DON’T Pay For
Book reviews of science fiction, fantasy and horror books. All book reviews are on spec. Please see the guide to writing book reviews for SFReader
