Book Review by Bill Johnson
Have you read this book?
What are the chances of getting away with murder? Saving the world? Or getting back that letter the Post Office lost?
Stranded in space and time? Odds of survival may be tiny but you may luck out and find a friendly planet -- or maybe not.
Suck in a dead end life? Having a "perfect" baby or spouse could be a crapshoot, but maybe you can afford to adjust your chances.
Wondering what the future holds? The Northern Line just opened up a new tube route to Betelgeuse, but tickets to New Eden are one way only. (Astronomical odds, Third Flat Iron Anthologies 2014)
This book is a collection of short stories from various authors. Some of the stories will make you wonder "Could this really be possible?" like the boy in "From here to the Northern line" Who draws extensions to subway lines that at take you to places like New Eden and other places unheard of. All in all this was a pretty interesting book. I give it four stars.
